I am currently in my fourth year of the Honours Integrated Science (iSci) program with a concentration in biology and a research background in pediatric neurology. I was first introduced to Dr. Andrews when I took his Evolution and Human Behaviour course in my third year and was immediately inspired by his approach to studying health from an evolutionary perspective. My current projects in the lab include a thesis project investigating fever as an adaptation to fight pathogens and a meta-analysis investigating depression relapse. In the future, I aspire to pursue a research career in which I can apply evolutionary theory to medicine.
